patientINFORM is a collaborative effort by trusted and experienced patient health organizations, medical societies, health information professionals, and scholarly and medical publishers. The Welch Medical Library was founded in 1929 through a merger of libraries throughout the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. Over its 75-year history, the Welch Library and its directors have played a leadership role in the management and delivery of health sciences information, with a particular focus on the development of innovative applications of new technologies.
